We will open on Thursday the 1st of October with the opportunity for golf at a private club in the area. That afternoon we will register and enjoy a reception for all. Over the next two days you can tour historical Philadelphia and Valley Forge or be part of the QVC experience. All the while we will share our common service history and tell tall tales about our youthful adventures in the 2d Cavalry. The event will culminate at the Reception and Banquet on Saturday evening.

Good article, Shannon. Thanks!
I just picked up a 34 page paperback about the Battle of 73 Easting written by McMaster and published by the government. I am going to bring it to the reunion and see if I can get him to sign it, then I am going to donate it to our museum. Ryan Meyer is supposed to be attending too, so I can hand it to him personally.
I found this article online about the Battle of 73 Easting.http://www.defensemedianetwork.com/stories/gulf-war-20th-the-battle...

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
