Event Description
Start making plans to join the 2d Cavalry Association for its 2023 reunion in Annapolis, Maryland. Early registration begins Memorial Day, November 11, 2022, on the 2d Cavalry Association website, and runs until MLK Day, January 16, 2023. After that date, registration fees will increase so register early.
Schedule of events:
Thursday April 27: golf tournament; registration; ice breaker social; and presentation titled "Cold War Regiment".
Friday April 28: Arlington National Cemetery wreath laying; WW II Memorial; US Army Museum; night river cruise.
Saturday April 29: visit US Naval Academy; 2d Dragoon punch bowl ceremony; banquet.
Sunday April 30: breakfast; board meeting; depart.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
