Event Description
You are invited to join your fellow Dragoons, past and present, in Vilseck, Germany on 23 May 2014.
This will be the 178th birthday of the Regiment celebrated by a volksfest, Regimental homecoming ceremony and the 2d Cavalry Association Stable Call.
Rally Point is Zur Poste (Konigstein) where Bill Bewley is staying.
May 20
1800 - A casual social event for those visitors in Vilseck for the event – sponsored by the local chapter. RCO and commanders to attend.
May 21
Spur Call hosted by the RCO at the Reed Museum on Post.
May 22
0800 - Gold Star Breakfast (by invitation only)
1000 - Re-dedication of the Monument
1300 - Birthday celebration and fest on the airfield

Tour of Museum and Brewery

Just shelled out about four grand for my plane ticket to the Regimental Homecoming -Birthday at Vilseck/Grafenwoehr in May. Forty years ago I would have paid that much not to go there!
