What: The Association of Border Cavalry Professional's Border Cavalry Reunion has been locked in for May 16th, 2015.
Where: Fort Riley, Kansas. Riley Conference Center.
Honored Guest Speaker: General Montgomery C. Meigs. (Short Bio below)
All members, family members, descendants of the following:
The United States Border Constabulary Regiments.
The United States Army, Armored Cavalry Regiments and Air Attack Troops (Border)
Members of all supporting elements.
Members and their families of the 10th Special Forces Group that conducted cross border operations out of Bad Tolz.
Members of the Intelligence Community that were involved in and/or conducted Cold War Border Operations.
Members of any person who served as an Augmentee on the Inner German Border
There is also room for anyone who would like to attend that is simply interested in the History of Operations on the Inner German Border.
Cost: $30 per person.
Food: Buffet supplied through the Conference Center.
Planned Events: Current events planned are a Meet and Greet, dinner with Guest Speaker General Montgomery C. Meigs, and a tour of the Cavalry Museum. More events are being planned and notifications will be updated as soon as they are locked in.
Dress: Casual. Stetsons and Spurs not required but certainly welcome and encouraged.

About our Honored Guest Speaker:
General Montgomery C. Meigs served as a Cavalry Troop Commander with the 9th Infantry Division in Vietnam. After receiving his Phd. in history he reported to the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment as the Executive Officer in 1982. In 1984 General Meigs took Command of 1st Squadron, 1st Cavalry, 1st Regiment of Dragoons. General Meigs took Command of 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division in September 1990 and Commanded the Brigade through Desert Storm. Further Commands for General Meigs were: 7th ATC, Grafenwoehr , Germany. 3rd Infantry Division, 1995 and 1996 when 3rd Infantry Division was reflagged to 1st Infantry Division which General Meigs Commanded in Bosnia. General Meigs also Commanded the NATO Stabilization Force in Bosnia and Herzegovina concurrent with his Command of US Army Europe and 7th Army. General Meigs is currently Visiting Professor of Strategy and Military Operations at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and President and CEO of Business Executives for National Security.
