I have plans for this time period. However, it would be nice to attend, For those of you that want a taste of Germany without having to go to Europe. May, I suggest Helen, Georgia. It is as close to Baveria as you will get here in the states. My wife loves it.

David, I'm thinking you would probably be on your own on the German economy and would have to make your own arrangements for room and board, transportation, etc. Then you would have to gain access to the post every day for the activities.

If you go, might I suggest the Angerer-Term Hotel in Vilseck? I had a very pleasant stay at the Angerer last year when a detachment from the 2nd Cavalry Association was headquartered there while attending functions at Rose Barracks. We hosted a Stable Call at the Angerer for members of the active Regiment the night before the Regimental ceremonies and had a real ball.

oh it'd be fun I'm thinking of going to the last Armor conference at Fort Knox as they are standing down of Fort Knox & the Armor school, it'll be the same time

I might attend depending on how things are set up. Will we all be at one place ? The number of events? Things like that. Being disabled I might need some help. L Trp 3/2 was the best unit I was with. I would love to be back and visit Rose Barracks again. Any extra information on this event would help as it comes available would help? Thanks Poteete (Tiger)
