I have recieved several requests from the Regiment about call sign names, which got me thinking, what was the call signs used by the border camp ops room guys when talking on the radio?  They may come in useful.

Forgot to mention....VESTA, on the bottom of the coin, is the Roman virgin goddess (Vestal Virgins) of hearth, home and family. The keeper of the home fires.

That Coin is really Cool. I am glad it exists, wonder how many issued?

Yeah John, the rear detachment squadron commander (grey shirt and jacket) handed me that coin and said "anybody who drinks beir with me deserves one of these."

We shed a few tears together on my birthday at the change of command ceremony.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
