Ok maybe several if I am not driving..
Joe, I had one Saturday in Williamsburg, Virginia while attending the 2d Cav Assoc reunion, and it was far from the first I've drank. Used to drink them all the time when I went to a particular bar near me here in Tacoma until they quit selling it on tap.
The reunion was great, Joe! I almost didn't go but I'm sure glad I did. Just seeing the WW II vets made it worthwhile, but there was so much more.
The next reunion is going to be in Kansas City, Missouri at Harrah's Casino. Maybe we can get more of the Central US and West Coast to show up. This last reunion was the biggest yet. We had about 190 for the banquet!
Next reunion is in 2019. No date as of yet.
Yes, Marktredwitz was the closest town. I'll see if maybe John Walker has the co-ordinates of the camp. He went there and took videos just before they tore it down.
No need for dress blues. A Stetson and sports jacket will work.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
