Terry what year was you with the 5/33rd/194th? I was in A co. 76-77.

As a ghost trooper during the Battle of 73 easting  They had forgotten to mention of the sandstorm we all encountered during the Fight !.

Capt. Sartiano,  Spc. Green and myself Cpl.(P) Harrison   The three of us had Disgusted On which Day  the Ground War would start . It  was on one of our Birthdays!.

 Congratulation, goes to   Capt. Sartiano!!

It is a real Honor to serve with you all, Ghost Troop.

Always Ready- Second to None !

You missed the reunion in Feb. Come up on Facebook. Most of the Troop is reconnected. Saw Sartiano in DC in Feb, btw.
Awesome story, and I saw the Military Channel special on the Battle too.
It was indeed a great feat for 2nd squadron but that is only a portion of the whole story. I was a Bradley driver in Bravo Troop 1st Squadron and we had our own share of encounters with the Iraqi's. To read this article you would think McMaster was the only commander in the conflict. Maybe someday we could get the whole story and not the Hollywood version as told by the media!!

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
