I have been looking at the pictures of LTC Vindman(he testified against Pres. Trump). It looks like he is wearing a 2nd ACR crest on his right side. Does anyone know if he was ever in 2nd ACR?

A LTC telling the Commander in Chief what to do. What kind of Army is this?
From the photo, is he wearing a 2nd ACR crest? Was he ever part of 2 ACR?
He never told the Commander in Chief what to do. He tried to keep him honest. He is a credit to his uniform.
I agree. Someone needs to tell this president what to do as he doesn't seem to have a clue.
He is wearing the crest, He is a democrat and was coached by other democrats to testify against President Trump. He should have educated himself about what was happening, He did not know the full story. It will all come out very soon. To bad he tarnished himself. The 2nd ACR will always respected. This is my observation.
Let us not get into politics on this site. My question is only that is he wearing a 2ACR pin, nothing else. Does anyone know if he was in 2ACR? Please keep politic out of this

Yes, he served in 2d Cav. Can't remember the particulars and don't want to speculate.
No politics in this, but he is wearing a 2nd Cav Crest as unit of affiliation, yet Infantry Branch Officer, and his Combat Badge indicates 25th ID, not totally impossible for him to have been with 2nd Dragoons, but if he was is was an odd circumstance.
Jon, I think he was at Ft. Lewis 2005-2006 when 2d Armored Cavalry Regiment (Light) was reflagged as 4th Bde, 2d Infantry Division and simultaneously 1st Bde, 25th Infantry was reflagged as 2d Stryker Cavalry Regiment, converting the regiment from a light Cavalry regiment (Bradleys and Hummers) to a Stryker brigade. So he was with 1/25ID when it became 2SCR. Believe he went to Seventh Army shortly after 2SCR went back to Germany in 2006.
Long story short...he was with us very briefly.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
