Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.
Trying to find a current point of contact re donations to the Museum. Left a note on the Museum site (22 Nov), but no response so far - maybe I'm being impatient, or left it at the wrong place. Tried an email to Ryan Meyer, using the address in Dave Gettman's article on donations, but it bounced back twice as being undeliverable. What it's about - picked up a nice OD uniform and khaki shirt with Regimental and 2d Cav Div sleeve patches on the blouse and shirt -and just trying to find out if the Museum wants them.
(Blouse is 42R; pants 31" waist & 33" length; shirt is 15 1/2 x 32) Regimental DUI on the Blouse lapels (Vanguard make, ca. 1960)

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, Ed. That was an old e-mail address and has now been updated. Try the link again and you should get through. It may take him several days to respond though. He's a pretty busy guy.
WILCO. Thanks!
My pleasure.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
