Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.
I don't know if you remember me from 3rd platoon, my name is Bill Morris, Sgt. on L-32. I was there from September 1974 until September 1977.
I do man how are ya?
I am in MN just retired from the Dept. Of Corrections. I was in 3rd platoon 76-77, gunner on L-35.
I was there when his wife went into labor in Amberg. My mind remembers her saying "this one better be a boy" as they passed her towards the ambulance since they had 2 or 3 cute blond-haired girls and he wanted a male heir.... I believe that the Cpt. was George R. Wallace the Third so lineage was very important. I was the Captain's driver for spell until Pat Fiest and I went AWOL during Reforger 1976 without our permission.. Another story for another time....
