When I first joined the P.O. it was a blast. Couldn't wait to go to work. The last couple of years I don't give a minute. Pretty soon will be back on the all list. Winter I take it easy. I know a 3rd of our office could retire at anytime. Nobody wants to leave. I don't see how anyone can retire and live in CT. They tax the hell out of you.
I joined the postal service so I wouldn't lose my military time. I applied to police offices in Dallas, Garland TX, Little Rock, Jacksonville, AR and Lawton OK. Sad the way things have turned out
I hear ya. I call them the flavor of the week, you know its going to be something new the next week. I need 10 to give me 30yrs,will only be 60 though.I dont think I'll see 10 more yrs.
Its going to hell in a handbasket. I have 8 years until I can retire. I have a bad feeling its not going to happen. Started as a Christmas casual in Dallas TX, 95. I have 9 yrs military time. Every week they have a new program to try out.
Hi Wayde, welcome aboard. How s the carrier craft doing in CT.? Its a mess in pa.
Hello, I am Wayde A. Collins. Letter Carrier, Norwich CT. Was in HHT July 90-July92.
I hope so also, she seems to be the type that dosen't micro manage ,but holds the mdo, sdo, workers responsible. On a more serious note the plant consolidation is in the crapper they took our out bound opperation and sent to DVD they're running 6&7 day's 10-12 hours trying to get the mail out.
Instead of saving 3 million a year we hear it 30 million in red between transportation and overtime and the worst part is none of these moron's will be held accountable but givin a promotion.
Things are messed up in Jersey too.
This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
