Tony all I remember was LTC John R.Landry(who can forget him) and LTC Konigsbauer.

I remember CSM Patton like it was yesterday. What ever happened to him he was a riot.CSM Chittick has a lot to do with my making the E5 list there though!

The Scala Bar was one of the first places I ever was taken too. In fact my initiation was the guys getting me trashed on Apfel Schnapps and letting me find my way home trashed and abandoned in the old grave yard my first night in country!Great bunch of guys we always were tough on cruits. ;)

I remember taking a piss that night in the bathroom waiting for some old man taking a piss and he stepped away from the wall and realized it was just a trough . I was embarrassed and learned alot my first night.

That night started out at the Chicken House if I remeber right!

I got to Amberg in Fall of '80, Herb Koeinigsbauer was the SCO (think Landry was the RXO then) andTom Konitzer followed him in summer of '81(?) -

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
