" MERRY CHRISTMAS " to all my Bamberg Brothers !
Jeffrey, feel free to post your group photos.
Hi Jeffrey, Long time. I was E Trp 3d platoon leader back then before transferring down to Nurnberg to be the Regimental Ammo Officer. SFC Kroner was my platoon sergeant. I have had contact with a few of the guys from my platoon but not many. Some of the troop are no longer with us.

Thanks, Bruce. My son, who was like 8 years old at the time, said that he thought it was Warner II. He just was there in April on vacation with his family. The place sure has changed. The housing area is now a refugee camp enclosed by chain link fence and the occupants throw rocks at folks outside the wire.
Can someone tell me what the name of the kasern for 2nd Squadron in Bamberg? I remember the one across the street was Warner Barracks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
