thanks Jim cant remember you but glad to hear Bullard Made CSM .
I was there from 8/79 to 8/81; first Fox troop, then HHT. I think I remember you Frank. I drove Squadron XO Olmstead from 9/79 until he left for Nuremburg 1980. I also filled in occasionally to drive Squadron CO Lyle until he left right before I did in 1981. I was only in Fox troop with Bullard & company for like 3 weeks. Later, when Bullard made CSM in 1982, he was with my Squadron out of Ft. Stewart.
Bullard was great, the more gin he drank the nite before the further we ran.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
