Greeting to all, Im looking for a 2/2 Calvary Regiment Certificate that is awarded to all that served the cav. I have lost mine and looking for a good quality JPEG of it so I can receate mine time that i served back in the 80s as a mortar man within F troop 2/2 ACR.

Sam, are you speaking of the Border Legion Certificates? If so there are several versions throughout the decades. Not sure if they were the same for all squadrons. Mine is out of 1/2 Cav.



yepper thats the one, Border Legion Certificate for the 2/2 ACR. I was stationed there from 1980-82 and my border camp was Hoff....if anyone can help me that would be nice.

8th Colonel of the Regiment Nelson B. Sweitzer 9 Jun 1886 – 29 Oct 1888



This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
