Troopers of B Troop ;
Just to let you all know that I'll be away from the computer for a few weeks due to getting my ankle fused together (a lot of screws and no walking but my Family will be letting me know whats on my Emails). So keep on sending Emails .This starts on 9 July 2010-Oct 2010.

I can't make this one, but hopefully the next one. I really would have have liked to shake Bill Barry's hand. He was my first Troop Commander when I arrived on the Rock.

I Got to "B" Troop in Dec of 1970 and left in Dec 1972 I Was in the Hq Plt for the Two years that I was with "B" Troop. I remember going to the Field at Vilseck,Grafenwhor,and Hohenfels. In 1971 I got back from Leave from the States and I was Burned from my Neck to the top of my head this was in Dec of1971,also my left arm was burnt too,I stayed in Weiden at a House next to Camp Pitman for two weeks and didn't have to worry about the army I was still on Leave. Any of you that was there from 1970 to 1972 would know.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
