Andy, I spent my first birthday in Bayreuth, 1954.
Dave, I think it's great that congress did that. My Dad was in nam. I was in in Bayreuth for '85-'89. My wife is american. My Daughter was born in Bayreuth.
Andy, I've been a life member of the American Legion ever since they helped me get my 100% disability rating 21 years ago.

Too bad there are not more guys on here,,I was 82-84, But spent most of my time with guys from 1st platoon. also a little time at Bacco's downtown..Also drank with a lot with the old Rads in Gasthaus's everywhere. My Mom was German-Dad a G.I. so I new a bit of the lingo..

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
