Former M Company commander. Highest scoring tank company in USAREUR winter of 1971. Fond memories of Graf winters huddling behind the grill doors to stay warm.

I was in one of the Recon Troops (C) and drove a Sheridan, but I was an 11E and took my original training at Ft. Knox in 1972 on the M60A1.

Got a 105 casing dropped on the back of my head while clearing brass out of the turret. Rung my bell pretty damn good!

I may have been a 63T, but I spent more time on an M1A1 than anything else. Hell, I was even priveleged enough to go downrange with them more than once. "tanks for the memories"!

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
