Yeah brother but you can still knock 'em back and you can balance on you fingers!

Hey Patrick, I'm startin' to look like those old border stones....weather worn and covered in moss.

Wayne Dixon, Nice photo albums!
I was at camp gates from 87 to 89. They remodeled the barracks and club several times. Too bad the Russians gave up and dropped the fences! I loved border patrols. I hope that's not a "Frag Rep"
Wayne, I didn't see any border stones in your albums.
Anyone know if the stones are still there or what happened to them?

The 1Sg was angry one morning and pointing at the stripes on his hat yelling "what's this say?" I being the a** that I was , they say nothing they are inert metal. 2 weeks on pots and pans in the mess hall.

Was being a little smart a** in the line at the mess hall before patrol and as the cokk was making the OP's chow I said give me half those eggs and he did then I had to eat all of them as they watched.

Nimmo, That thermos story is so funny...I saw a very similar incident in 1983, When a Sgt., whose name escapes me, began holding the thermos as if it were some sort of telescope. The BC guards at that checkpoint were keenly interested in that thermos, too!

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
