Wow Ronny, I guess he figured he might as well get out while he was on top. Much better than being shown the back door for something stupid some day.

Talking about that football thing....... the coach who's teams won more games than any other at O.U. resigned this afternoon and assistant-coach Lincoln Riley was selected to be the next football coach. No one seen this coming . He was a good one. One national championship & 10 big-12 crowns. O.U. has good luck in promoting and hiring assistant coaches. He was not under any pressure, guess he just wanted to walk away. His teams won more big-12 championships than all the rest of the big-12 teams together. Some job, wish him well.

Looks like we both have reason to celebrate, Ronny. You have a lot of great college champions to root for, and I'm not getting Kaepernick!

It has been a good year. O.U is National champ's in both men & women gymnastics, mens golf this week and tonight O.U. women was crown champs in soft-ball for the second year in a row. Now if can just get that football thing.

If Seattle want's to hire that piece of Shit with all that baggage, guess they know what they are doing. Can't see any good coming from it. They will be fans & sponsors looking for the exit.

Seattle got a pretty good thing going there, why screw it up?

After months of speculation over why, exactly, Colin Kaepernick has gone unsigned, the former 49ers quarterback finally has some serious interest.

Kaepernick is visiting the Seahawks Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

Seattle head coach Pete Carroll had previously acknowledged the team's interest in Kaepernick.

Per ESPN, it is a standard visit and no deal is imminent. Former Rams, Browns and Broncos QB Austin Davis is also working out for the Seahawks, NFL Network reported.

5 reasons why Colin Kaepernick and the Seahawks are a good fit

Kaepernick, who started 11 games for San Francisco last year, has been the subject of a hot debate this offseason. Some believe that given his resume, Kaepernick shouldn't have had this hard of a time finding work and believe that teams are avoiding him because of his social activism. Most notably, Kaepernick kneeled during the national anthem last season to protest the way police were treating African-Americans in the United States.

Others point out that Kaepernick's play has fallen off precipitously and that he doesn't make for an ideal backup because of his style of play, which is quite reliant on his running ability. That would likely not be a concern playing behind Russell Wilson, however, as the Seahawks starter is also mobile.

Other possible explanations include Kaepernick's salary demands or some combination of the aforementioned factors.
