Hmmm...without a dog in the fight, I took the Rams and the wife took the Pats for $1. Guess I joined everyone else in expecting some offense and actually thought the Rams had a chance of winning it late in the game.

Wife got nickles and dimes.

Interesting thoughts Harry. It actually hurts for me to choose the Pats, but I promised a good friend of mine from Boston that I would not root against the Pats if he came to my Super Bowl party. Also you were right about Belichick, he will have a plan up his sleeve. Maybe subconsciously I believe if I root for them they will loose, since when I pick them to loose they win? Lol

Anyway the conference championships 2 weeks ago was the best day of football I can remember. I just hope this SB is half as good. Hope all is well with you and the guys from old timers.

In case I didn't make myself clear, if the Rams can't/don't get to Brady, a snowball has a better chance of not melting in hell than do the Rams have a chance of winning.  So here's my hedge bet; If Brady goes unscathed, Pats 35-20. (Still not betting the farm.)

A bettor has placed a $1.5 million wager on the underdog Los Angeles Rams to beat the favored New England Patriots in the Super Bowl on Sunday. While most bets have been placed on the Patriots to beat the 2.5-point spread, Sportsbook operator William Hill reportedly received a $1.5 million bet on Friday in favor of the Rams. This same bettor placed $1 million on the Philadelphia Eagles over the Patriots in the 2018 Super Bowl, and walked away with $1.65 million with the Eagles surprise win. The South Point sports book also took a $300,000 wager in favor of the Rams. At bookmaker William Hill, more and more bets are leaning toward the Rams. In the past 11 years, the underdog has won the Super Bowl eight times.

Hello Ernie.  Here's my take; If the Rams hit Brady hard and often the Rams should win.  The Giants wrote the blueprint on beating Brady.  He can't throw effectively while sitting under the massive weight of defensive linemen.   Not many teams followed suit, whether by design or simply lack of talent.  The one Ram I worry about is Suh.  He's a dirty player and his actions could hurt the Rams.  I'll root for the Rams only because of the Giant/Patriot history.  Rams 34-29...but I wouldn't bet the farm.

I wonder how many times the “blown noncall” will be mentioned.  The Saints were robbed, yada, yada, yada.

  • Place has been quiet for Super Bowl upon us, anyway if you can't beat them join them, so I will;    pats will win by 10 points. Sorry Andy and Robert

Yes the Chargers had a short circuit, but I heard Belichick changed the current in the Bolts locker room from 110 to 220 and blew their fuse! Lol
Seriously that coach has a plan for every team he meets especially the big ones. The Chargers were the “Cinderella” team this year I thought , oh well, now I have to root for KC and Mahomes. Saints had tough time with Birds from Philly. Don’t know if they can get by the Rams at home next week.

Ernie, halftime 35-7 Pats.  The way the game is going the only chance the Bolts have would be if NE doesn't come out of the locker room for the 2nd half.

Wow so far crystal ball correct! Da Rams had two (2) one hundred yard runners, serious offensive numbers with Goff. Chiefs rode all over Colts. Andy I know your Pats are are at home but the cold doesn't affect electricity, right? Look out for a shock, zzzzzzzit!
