Any yearbook for the 67-68 yrs? I never saw one while stationed there. I wonder what ever happened to the scout car in the barracks across from Regt. HQ at Merrell.

Closest I've got is 1964.

Hey Troops,

I am tossing around an idea for us all to make our own Yearbooks in the Photo Album section.

Start an album for each Unit, and then everyone could enter their best picture and a caption, the only problem I see with the idea is that we wind up with several albums, with very few pix in them. And also there are those who do not want their pix here.

Anyway just an idea, tell me what you think???

Gentlemen,  who has the anniversary year book from the 59-61 period, I had not seen that book would love to come across that book.  I 'll have to go ebay and see if I can find one.  unless som one might have an extra one around.

You can see the entire 125th anniversary book from 1961 here: http://history.dragoons.org/modules/gallery/album51

Just click on each photo to enlarge it. Once enlarged, you can click on it again to make it VERY large, for reading.

Dave, Thank you .  I looked at the I-Troop from when I was with the Squadron from 59-61.  Do you know if they had a prior 2nd Cav prior to this one?  I reconized a few of them from when I was there..  I am going to try and copy a few of the photos and put in my files.  Old rememberances from the old days.

Just a few from the early to mid 50's Wayne.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
