SONG OF THE WEEK

A little Simon and Garfunkel. OK, a lot, complete with the crackle and pop of vintage vinyl.

With Tom's wonderful pictures of some of Gods greatest masterpieces and Jim's  hilarious jokes I am having a good day. Thank you gentlemen.

How to start a fight.

My wife and I were sitting at a table at her high school
reunion, and she kept staring at a drunken man swigging his
drink as he sat alone at a nearby table.

I asked her, "Do you know him?"

"Yes", she sighed,

"He's my old  boyfriend. I understand he took to drinking
right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear he
hasn't been sober since."

"My God!" I said, "Who would think a person could go on
celebrating that long?"

And then the fight started...

A little reality check for you all....
A local newspaper ran a story about a couple in their 60's. They were referred to as "elderly."

Good morning all you happy campers, whether snowbound or sunbound. We have very lucky here weather-wise. Cold, but no white stuff.
The ladies are settling in. Margie is in a "happy" place and Jo has finally come to the understanding that she cannot do everything for her mother. She had been with her from 7a-7p. Can't keep it up and she is ok with that now. Next week we will deal with the legal stuff and what is gonna be, is gonna be.
Yesterday I made pea soup and marinara sauce. It supplements Margie's meals, even though she eats plenty without it. The place she is at has been more than we expected. VERY accommodating and can't do enough for her.

Good mornin' troops ,we got about 15" of snow here in Kansas City yesterday, but Harley didn't send us home til it was coming down at 2.5-3" an hour . A thirty minute drive turned into a two and a half hour slog.

Dennis, the doctor did supply the cup but he told me to come with my wife-not good. The tests he sent me for show a mass on my right kidney, a mass on my bladder and a POUCH on my prostrate. A pouch, I must be a kangaroo! C/T scan with contrast tommorrow. What a good time I'm having for the last 7 years.

How to start a fight.

Saturday morning I got up early, quietly dressed, made my
lunch, and slipped quietly into the garage. I hooked the
boat up to the van and proceeded to back out into a torrential
downpour. The wind was blowing 50 mph, so I pulled back into the
garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather
would be bad all day.

I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back
into bed. I cuddled up to my wife's back; now with a different
anticipation, and whispered, "The weather out there is
terrible."

My loving wife of 5 years replied, "And, can you believe my
stupid husband is out fishing in that?"

And that's how the fight started...
