Wayne, I remember you mentioning nickel. Do you wear a chain or necklace or perhaps an eyeglass chain? Does any part of the headrest from your chair come into contact with the affected areas? I'm sure you've considered all these things. It could well be one of those things that go undiagnosed. As they say,"medicine is not an exact science." But I sure hope they can do something for you.

Harry, remember back a few year they did a check on my back to see what I might be allergic to, they said it was chrome, but we bought a test kit and could not find any thing in my home to cause it..  But the itch sure does run me up the wall, never did find anything to really ease the itch.  It is around my neck and chest area.

Glad you and Jo had a good time.  But, isn't it hell, when you are paying their bills.

Wayne, after these many years with your rash it would not surprise me if they don't find the cause. With many rashes, the only relief is to treat the itch as best you can. Viruses manifest themselves in many ways and I'm guessing this is a form of virus. As soon as they find a cure or treatment, the virus will mutate. Over the years, because of the many antibiotics we have been taking, viruses have become extremely difficult to treat. If you think about it, it seems when we were growing up and saw a doctor for a sore throat or some upper respiratory problem, the first thing he prescribed were antobiotics, with no lab tests to determine if that was best. No cultures done. So, as a last resort ask your doctor (preferably a Dermotologist) to do cultures from various sections of your rash. It may not help, but it won't hurt.

Jo and I did not win yesterday but we felt good knowing we were helping Harrah's bottom line.

HARRY, I still have that old rash, have been fighting it now for over 5 years, none of the medicine they give me works, you would think by now they could have found something to cure it.  I go again on the 27th also, I'm afraid the doctor is not going to like what I am going to say this time.

Dave, went yesterday to my appointment but the clinic from last week goofed up.  They did not take a urine sample so they could not do the test on me yesterday.  Have two appointments on the 27th now.  I sure hope the can find what is wrong and get around to fixing it.
