Justice................ what frigging justice?

Rich man gets justice and a poor man gets the shaft or a trip to the Big-House.

My oldest brother Gary (rest his ornery soul) had a '65 Pontiac Catalina 2+2, 421ci, tri-power, Hurst 4-spd....all the goodies, and he lost it over storage fees to a back-country little garage.

He took it to a place where he lived in South Prairie, Washington, population about 140 at the time. He wanted some carburetor work done to get them all in sync. Someone broke into the garage that night and put the guard dog in my brother's car while they burglarized the place (sounds like an inside job to me).

The dog destroyed the inside of my brother's car. He tried to get the owner of the shop to fix his car but the owner refused. The owner tried to get my brother to come get his car, but he refused until it was fixed. Ended up going to court, the owner filed bankruptcy, and my brother lost his car over storage fees.

We used to call it "midnight auto sales."

Stealing Parts for old cars takes a lot longer now - cash for clunkers wiped out a generation of antiques.

I hope they didn't charge a storage fee.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
