Good morning, nice catch Ernie, a couple of years ago, I joined my kids and grand kids down on the East cape of the gulf of Mexico, the kids had been there a week when I arrived. Earlier that day they had been out fishing and the oldest grandson caught a 25lb Wahoo and they took it to the restaraunt to have them fix it for dinner, best fish I ever ate, a great week at the cape with the kids and grand kids !

Geez, I'm getting pathetic!

I'm sittin' here listening to friends tell fishin' stories and I don't have a hand in the game. Haven't been fishin' since Kim Cornelius and I went out to Silver Lake in my canoe when I was catching nice trout and Kim the fish killer wasn't, same as the other few times before we had been out there.

After sharing my lunch and my only beer with him because he didn't bring anything, he started complaining about being cold and wanting to go. I gave him my coat. He kept whining so we eventually had to leave. I figured he was just PO'd because he couldn't catch fish, but I found out on the way home it was because he crapped his pants. It was a long ride home with the windows down in my truck. He bugged me for a few years after that to take him fishing again but I never did.

He's been dead a few years so it was awhile back. I buy a fishin' license every year and never use it. Even bought a small game huntin' license last year but haven't stepped foot in the woods. That has got to change!

We caught a wahoo at 4oo ft, a large mahi and a kingfish and won the triple crown and split $3,000. between 4 of us with all kinds  of gifts besides. One guy was the driver (pilot) who was great. His boat.  The King we caught off of Southern Blvd about 80 ft deep and the Mahi also 80 - 100 ft but on top by a seaweed slick

Ernie,  how far off shore and how deep do you think, and were they hiding in a seaweed            ?slick

Hey Sig, Fresh Fish!

Sig is right about WOPorgin. However, it came I to common usage in WWII North African campaign after a forward observer called in a fire mission on three Italians In the open. After an entire hill was obliterated by DivArty who though the call was 3 BATTALIONS in the open. Lot of wasting of ammo stopped.
