SONG OF THE WEEK

A little Simon and Garfunkel. OK, a lot, complete with the crackle and pop of vintage vinyl.

RC, tell John the next time you speak to him, I said hello.

Hey Gene, it's that mind blowing moment when the man in charge gets his head out of his fifth point of contact. Very rare phenomenon.

Harold, got out in March 60, made 2 reserve meetings, at the second one a major said goodbye troops, you're no longer needed. I left and never looked back !

I enlisted at 17 and turned 18 during Basic re-enlisted in Germany for 4 more.. upon ets, and in college. a MP car pulled up to the house and arrested me for failure to report for active reserve duty in the Navy..I tried to explain and get my discharge papers but they said nope get in the car... so I spent the week end in the brig at Longbeach... Monday my wife showed up with discharge apers ,, all they said was oops wrong Carlson...   nno apolgies compensation or other wise..  2 year later I was called up for failure to register for the draft... (this was 1977)   I had to explain again....  Military Intel at it's best.
