I or the cper thingy's do allow me a precence on FB where I've found a few 2d Cav sites that I have come to know alot of troopers which isgreat..  I do encounter on occasion someof you there also,fantastic..  Harry and I have spoke on the phone and I've been informed that I have to check in on occasion to keep in standing!! this I will forsure adhere to!!!  its always good to speak with him..  I'm thinking that much of my problems may lie with the current computer I'm on and am trying o get my sons computer (laptop) that has a newer program and see if that will be a easier avenue for me to get through to this sde!!!  anyways alittle windy on my part here  sorry of that..  ..better get the lights and get some rest..   Harry I'll leave my dime on the bar and quietly exit!!  take care all..

I'll be-------!!  I actually got past the Sage of Arms!!jk..for a change the net or powers beyond allowed me to sign on!!  just a quick  "flirt" before I'm discovered.!!  and its late,,eye-lids are heavy and drooping,,time for bed here..     just will throw a "Toujours Pret" Always Ready at all..and to be known I really want to frequent the halls and by-ways of these here premises but for reason beyond my inttelect the net most of the time won't let me "sign in" but it does allow me to moniter the site so I do and appreciate keeping up on all..its always great to see and hear how all are doing.also the riffs of  the yipperish!!  so   I bid all a great and healthy days and nights....roger and over to the out..wilco etc!!  take care brothers..

Hey Dave, maybe some day we can get together and share our mindless drivel. Actually with my limited familial history, you could well be correct.

Wow Harry, we may be long lost cousins or something. I get that too!

Wayne, we've had some rain as part of a larger storm, but all in all, nothing we couldn't handle.
Dave, I have a diverse and unlimited supply of useless information but a little more never hurts. I seem to want to share it at parties. Invitations have dwindled over the years.

Dave's story about his flagpole sent me to google search this morning. I was curious about wind-speed records.

For over fifty years the record ( non-tornado ) was at Mt. Washington. 231 MPH

Record broken by cyclone Oliva at Barrow Islands. Cyclone is a tornado over water.( 251 MPH )

Highest wind-speed ever recorder on face of the Earth was outside Oklahoma City in 2005. 318 Mph ( Tornado )

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
