Happy Birthday Wayne.  I hope your day is filled with family, friends and fond memories.

A little bird told me Wayne has a birthday just around the corner.

We've got two days to bake a cake big enough to get Opie into.

Frank M, looking good trooper, safe travels !

Could have used some more orange cords at the reunion, Frank. My cord was a big hit with the Civil War re-enactors wearing their Dragoon orange piping on their uniforms.

With Bryan Denny, President of the 2d Cavalry Association and our own Shannon Ryan.

Good afternoon Troopers ... ..

Glad to see all that went to the Reunion have made it back to Home Base safely.

Bad timing on the runs there, Dave. Glad they cleared up for you. The weather, here, has been hot enough to fry eggs on the sidewalks lately. Thank goodness it  has cooled off a wee bit. In 3 weeks, we'll begin rolling North for the Summer.

Hope all are doing well. Enjoy the day. Toujours Pret.

No biggie, Sig. I just missed out on the tours. I made the important stuff, including the apple pie moonshine being passed around out back behind the breakfast buffet.

Yes, I vaguely remember that movie, Harold. Gotta watch it again I guess.

any of you old enough to remember the movie "A Town Without Pity" with Kirk Douglas.  It was released in 1961  It was filmed in BAMBERG in 1960 (did not say what army base) the patches were 7th Army they did not show field clothing

to see the unit patches.  The only base I remember in Bamberg was the 2nd ACR

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
