wayne, I was one in the 80 group but not by much. i'll be 81 in july. dam I just can't believe where all the years went. the two years in the cav. seemed like forever and when I look back it seems like only yesterday.myself being a drafty I consider myself lucky and proud to have been part of the great second cav.if they need me again I can still carry the six packs but they'll get lighter as I advance.tojours pret.  gene

DAVE, Who was in the over 80 group, any that I might know.  Any from Amberg, 3rd Squadron,  I feel lost ony one from my last tour, Harry was one I know.

8th Colonel of the Regiment Nelson B. Sweitzer 9 Jun 1886 – 29 Oct 1888



This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
