Dave, I agree, I would love a real good schnitzel right now.  Has been a few years since I was out to my friends place on the circle here in Fort Worth.  He was born somewhere round Bonn.  He has been over here for many a years. I have known him since in the 70s or early 80s, when I was real active in the Shrine.

Harry, I have been lucky never been down sick from oysters.  I probally would now mess with them now days,  to much contamination going around.

You started it, Ronny. Since this is the Dragoon Saloon, I figured we needed some whiskey philosophy.

"Tell me what brand of whiskey Grant drinks. I would like to send a barrel of it to my other generals." - Abraham Lincoln

"Never delay kissing a pretty girl or opening a bottle of whiskey." - Ernest Hemingway

"Happiness is having a rare steak, a bottle of whiskey, and a dog to eat the rare steak." - Johnny Carson

"I'm here to kick ass and drink whiskey, and pilgrim, I'm out of whiskey." - John Wayne

"If I cannot drink bourbon and smoke cigars in heaven, than I shall not go." - Mark Twain

"Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough." - Mark Twain

"Always carry a flask of whiskey in case of snakebite. And furthermore, always carry a small snake." - W. C. Fields

"Whiskey has killed more men than bullets, but most men would rather be full of whiskey than bullets." - Winston Churchill

Who was the biggest jokester in George Washington's Army?

How come there are no knock-knock jokes about America?
Because freedom rings

What quacks, has webbed feet, and betrays his country?
Beneduck Arnold

What did one flag say to the other ?
Nothing, it just waved

What haunted King George III ?
The spirit of 76

What would you get if you crossed George Washington with cattle feed ?
The fodder of our country

Readers Digest fourth of July jokes, don't you just love it ?

I'm a Southerner and we fry EVERY THING. So that boiling hot grease kills all those bad bacteria.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
