Sounds like you have some miles to put on, Frank.

Been pretty dry here lately. Haven't gotten a drop of rain in over a month. Might get a few sprinkles tomorrow, then it dries out for the foreseeable future. If no rain tomorrow, we might have a shot at the record for longest streak without rain, 51 days set in 1951.

Good afternoon Troopers ... ..

I am over at the daughter's, using her Wi-Fi while the wife does some laundry. We are doing fine. Been a bit wet of late, but no serious rains. August will be a traveling month for us. Will spend a couple of days with Col. Joe and Dolores in Vermont, then go to NH (North Woodstock) for two weeks. Then up to Quebec for 3 nights, then to Eustis , Maine for the week with 2nd Cav group. Finally traveling back to Mansfield until mid October. Then we head South to Florida with a stop at Stone Mountain, GA for a few days.

Supposed to get the new Awning installed on the camper at the end of July. Already paid for it.

Looks like most of you are doing well. Wayne, hope they get you straightened out finally.   I'm in no hurry to try raw Oysters, just one thing that is on my list of things to try. Went Kayaking a couple of days ago, on a pond (lake) near my daughter's place. I enjoyed it.

Enjoy your evening. Take care.

Toujours Pret!

I was wondering about you, R.C. didn't know if all that rain had gotten to your area or not. Had wondered if you had a pair of hip boots, Glad to hear that you and Gloria are doing ok. Keep in touch.  If you folks are ever up this way, stop by and say hello.  Was not much of a host the last time.  I am making a lot of visit's to VA here lately, have 2 this week and a couple next week.  They found fluid around my heart, when they did a catscan on me, still waiting for an appt. with a heart doctor. must not be to bad, still waiting.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
