That's a great story, Gene. Thanks for sharing.

Shannon, one of our di's in 1957 at fort meade and later our platoon sergeant in bindlach lives in paradise..he and two other di's and also bindlach ncos from the area came to a couple of our "c" troop reunions 40 years after the fact on the east coast. we too have attended two reunions hosted by them on the west coast.one of the ncos was the one in charge of the gate guard when the picture was taken that's posted on the dragoon site.is that something or what. i'm proud and fortunate to have served in a unit that had so much mutual respect between us.

Just checking in. I have been busy with work it is that time of season. I leave for Truckee on Monday starting a 5 to 6 week digging job for a electrical contractor at Truckee high school. a very beautiful area not far from Reno or Lake Tahoe. My hotel is at Donner lake right next to the area where the Donner party went through that terrible winter. Truckee is also one of the coldest places in the country during the winter time. Also my parents in their mid 70's sold their house in Paradise California and moved to Deadwood South Dakota last week. They said they were done with California and it was time to move. I cant say I blame them. As soon as I am finished working here I will be leaving as well. I want to be gone before it totally implodes here. I hope all stay healthy and enjoy life to the fullest. Toujours Pret Brothers.

Sorry no, Harold. That just states that it was introduced into the House of Representatives in 2015. Nothing has happened since then.

Frank was getting ready to go on a trip to New York for the first time, and was talking to his friend Bill.

Bill: “While you are in New York, there is a bar that you have to go to. When you walk through the front door, you are handed a free drink. Then you can go to the back room and get laid. Come back up to the bar, and you get another free drink. Then you can get laid again. It goes on like this all night.”

Frank: “That sounds unbelievable. Have you really been there?”

Bill: “No, but my sister has.”

Well, the count for poisonings in Seattle restaurants from eating raw oysters is up to 25 now. I think those idiots see it as a challenge.

I think they would have to drag me out Harold, kickin' and screamin' the whole way.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
