Hope all are doing well and in good health,  Have been doing ok at this end.  I have been getting a little weaker here lately, but am hanging in there. Making a lot of appointments at VA, still fighting the sores on my backside they don't seem to want to heal. we have tried about everything, different seat cushions even changed the bed mattress unit,  I have had better.  oh well trial and error.  I feel good any way finally the first of the month, I paid off the home and that van of mine, the big ones.  After Harvey, now the bad news headed for Florida.  I have a bunch of my family living down there, would like to see it go back out to sea.

Good afternoon Troopers ... ..

Checking in ... .. All is well in MA. Been cool and a bit rainy of late. Still praying for those in Texas in Harvey's wake. AND...... Now really concerned for my family and friends in the Tampa / Hillsborough County area of Florida, with Hurricane IRMA bearing down on them. For that matter, concerned about the Whole State of FL.

August was a traveling month for us, with stops in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. We are now back in Mansfield, MA until mid October. Will begin heading South, then with a stop over at Stone Mountain, GA, for the Highland Games.

Hope everyone is doing well. Have been reading about all the fires in the Western states. Sure hope that they can get them under control.

Enjoy the day, take care!  Toujours Pret!

Air in the unhealthy range here in Tacoma from all the smoke out of the Cascade Mts fires. Won't be doing any work outside again today.

Wow, everything around my house is a weird orange/grey from the sun shining through all the smoke and ash coming in because of the forest fires around here in the Cascade Mts.

Wife's rental car had a light layer of ash on it this morning when she went to work. The bird has been having a lot of trouble breathing and I'm starting to have a little trouble myself, but some of that could be coming from the pipe.

Happy labor day to all. Summer is coming to a end soon and we finally got out of the triple digits today this next week is suppose to be cooler. but the smoke from all the fires is causing quite a lot of haze and smoke in the air, the air quality  has been very bad out here lately.

90's yesterday, today, tomorrow, and the next day. Will be a new record for most 90's in a row here, doubling the old record.
