SIG, glad to hear the family ok, in Florida.  So far all of my family's are ok also, all they had was rain and loss of power, lucky no one was hurt in the storm.

DAVE, tell you what, I'll trade you a little of my temperature for a little of your's. I'm running in the mid 90's here in Texas, My air conditioner has not stopped.  Hope that you get a little rain so that all those fire will die out.

To all of our fellow troopers, I hope all are in good health and doing fine.  To all we wish the best for all, from the Dixon household here in Texas. Toujours Pret..

High and dry here, Sig. Could use a little of that Irma precip to help with the fires. Never seen it so dry before. Had a small front come through Saturday with just a fine mist that didn't even wash the ash off the cars. It helped clean up the air though and kept temperatures in the high 50's to low 60's during the day.

Good morning troops on 9/11. Our daughter, son in law and grandson who live on Merritt Island, Fla. made it through Irma with just minor damage to their dock which is on the Indian River and a board in their garage as a shelf fell and hit their car. They were prepared for worse with food water and a generator which came in handy as they lost power. Hope all is well with the brothers on this fine Monday. Toujours Pret, y'all. Honor Guard Duty on Friday.

DAVE, I have heard from 3 of my family's in Florida they are ok, they are living in the north part of the state towards the center.  They are getting a little breeze nothing heavy as of yet.   Have been watching the news, they have been battering with the rain down south.

DAVE, I still have the rash and the skin cancer but we are working on them, so far they have cut out two area's on my head for the cancer.  They have done a good job.  yeah the folks in Florida I hope are going to be ok, I have 5 family's down in Florida, sure hope they make it out and not to much damage.

Hello out there to all of our troopers, hope all are doing ok.  Hope all in Florida weather out this battle with the storm, OK.

Good to hear from you Wayne. Hope your family in Florida make it through the storm OK.

Must feel pretty good having the house and van paid for. I paid off my truck a few months ago, 2 years early, and that felt pretty good. Thankfully the house has been paid off for decades.

I sure don't envy you all those trips to the VA. That has to be taking a lot out of you and Vi. Hope you get to the bottom of those sores (pun intended).

Did you ever get any relief on that rash that was driving you crazy for so long?

Hope all are doing well and in good health,  Have been doing ok at this end.  I have been getting a little weaker here lately, but am hanging in there. Making a lot of appointments at VA, still fighting the sores on my backside they don't seem to want to heal. we have tried about everything, different seat cushions even changed the bed mattress unit,  I have had better.  oh well trial and error.  I feel good any way finally the first of the month, I paid off the home and that van of mine, the big ones.  After Harvey, now the bad news headed for Florida.  I have a bunch of my family living down there, would like to see it go back out to sea.
