SONG OF THE WEEK

A little Simon and Garfunkel. OK, a lot, complete with the crackle and pop of vintage vinyl.

Happy birthday harry.

I have had a hell of a last five or close to 6 weeks.  My wife Joan had to be rushed to the hospital.  She had blocked arteries leading to the Colin and thought that they would have to operate and remove a large portion.  That would have put a bag on her side.  We called in our own gastro guy  and went into tests.  No operation and fed only by tubes for 8 days.  believe it or not, I sleept in a chair for the first 4 days. after a few days of recuperating, before seeing the doc we started preparing for the Hurricane which was aimed right for my apartment.  The doc cancelled the appointment and ran to GA.

We went to a friends house where about 4 tornadoes touched down, hitting a cell site.  All homes were good.

Going to take an MRA today to loo k at the arteries and see if any are still blocked.  She does not have any more pain.

Thank you all for thinking of us in South FL

You can keep the heat, Wayne. 70's and 80's is plenty hot enough for me.

SIG, glad to hear the family ok, in Florida.  So far all of my family's are ok also, all they had was rain and loss of power, lucky no one was hurt in the storm.

DAVE, tell you what, I'll trade you a little of my temperature for a little of your's. I'm running in the mid 90's here in Texas, My air conditioner has not stopped.  Hope that you get a little rain so that all those fire will die out.

To all of our fellow troopers, I hope all are in good health and doing fine.  To all we wish the best for all, from the Dixon household here in Texas. Toujours Pret..
