Yes I finished up in Lake Tahoe on Saturday probably go back up next spring.

In 1960 after his discharge My buddy Sam Alves came to brooklyn to visit me.  I got him a blind date for the night and we went to German town in Manhattan.  "The Lorelei Club".  They had an umpah band and it was fun.  He went home to Versilles Kentucky and I guess he didn't tell his wife he was coming home.  I heard he committed suicide about a month later.  Does any one recognize him? He was with the 3rd before the 2nd Gyroed over

I don't remember Dave, my computer won't enlarge that crest where I can see it.

On my shoulder above the 7th Army Patch.
