Hey Frank, they are a bit costly but you can get an original Stone Mountain half dollar that was minted in 1925 to raise funds for the project. I got one for mark Kieth at GovMint.com a couple years ago. The price is still $69.95.

Trouble is, the real GovMint can come take it away from you, make it worthless, or make it illegal to own.

The comment Box is not fully loading ,for me, so I cannot post pictures.
Had to get New Phones for Cathy and me yesterday. Mine died and her's was dying. Really need them with the traveling we are doing.
This coming Monday, we will pull out of Canoe River Campground and begin moving South with a 5 day stopover at Stone Mountain, GA, then on to Tampa for the Winter.
Hope all are doing well. Enjoy the day, Take Care!

Wayne, I graduated Radio School Aug of 57 Fort Dix NJ and went right to FT. MEADE 2nd ACR

which was Gyroing back to Germany in March or April 58.

I was with the advance party and landed in Germany 12/11/57 HQ HQ CO, MERRILL BARRACKS,  NUREMBERG.  I left 3/59

I can't afford medicines either and the VA makes me pay $24. for 90 days.  Costco has some of my scrips which I pay $13.16 dollars for 90 days.

I  was in GERMANY from 59-61 then back over 62-64 same unit.  Harold when were you there from signal school? . My medicine is all taken care by VA.  I could not afford 700. I am retired, wished my pay was more.

wAYNE, HOW ARE YOU?   Mike Rutollo I believe was at HQ in 1960.

I left 3/59

I'm having a problem getting the medicine I need for my tri glicerides. the costco pharmacy wants $700. for 90 days. and it seems to be the only one that works.

I'm mooching samples from all the DR's I go to but not enough.

HAROLD, who are you talking about, Michael.  I  know of one from back then, he and I were in old G before the changes were made.  Ned wrote our unit paper.
