Sunday, November 12th
(Veterans Weekend)
We will be tapping a very special WOODEN KEG of Weihenstephan Festbier shipped directly from Germany. It is only one of three of these special kegs shipped to the United States and the only one in Florida.
What a great way to celebrate and honor our amazing Veterans - especially the ones who served and were stationed in Germany.
We will have brunch specials ranging from Black Forest Ham and cheese Egg Casserole, Thuringer sausages, German breads and pastries and of course Schnitzel a la Holstein. Please make reservations for this very special event and get here early. There is only one keg so it will go fast!!!!

Hooked this carp in the dorsal fin while trolling and drug him in sideways. Thought I hooked a bucket of rocks! You can see how pumped up my arms are from reeling.

Hey Sig have you ever rebuilt a Harley golf cart ? I have only seen one of them before but then I do not see many golf carts. I was working at a mobile home park and this old boy drives up in it and I said hey man nice Harley you got there I did not know they made them I think AMF had something to do with them.

Sig I caught a big old catfish once and hooked him in the side and that was one heck of a fight felt like I was dragging in a log that was trying to fight it, he was about 12 to 15 pounds if I remember correctly I was a teenager when I caught him I believe it was a channel catfish.

I could not agree more with you Sig, I never thought I would think that way about California. I am five generations from here but it is not the same place that I grew up in I always thought I would spend the rest of my life here but that is not going to happen. We have great weather and beautiful land here but it just is not worth it any more. The politicians have run this state into the ground. I am ready to get a travel trailer and join our brother Frank Mosley on the road. I always enjoyed the Cavalry way, Highly mobile and ready to move out at all times Lol. My folks are in their mid seventies and just moved to Deadwood South Dakota this summer sold their house in Oroville California. Mom and pops have had enough of this state, he is retired Navy, retired from the state and collecting his social security and California was taxing him dearly, he says he will be able to keep 15% more of his money by moving to a state that does not tax his retirement. There are about a dozen states that do not tax your retirement but Kalifornia is not one of them. Check out this website from Kiplinger financial it is a map that shows the  best and worse states to retire in https://www.kiplinger.com/tool/retirement/T055-S001-state-by-state-... It is very informative, and if you are highly mobile and ready to move out at all times you do not have to stay when the weather gets bad or you get bored. Just go and visit friends and relatives around the Country and take your house with you. Toujours pret.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
