SONG OF THE WEEK

NOT SO MUCH A SONG THIS WEEK AS A MEMORY JOG. HOW MANY OF YOU REMEMBER LISTENING TO EPISODES OF THIS SUPER HERO ON AMERICAN FORCES NETWORK RADIO IN THE 1960'S AND 1970'S?

Shannon, I haven't heard that phrase in 60 years

"Frohliche Weihnachten an alle."

How did you remember that?  And I speak Stat Deutch.  Ensuldigan Bitte, Vo ist mein kupf.  I am impressed you remembered that

Happy New Years to all.

Wishing all of our Cavalry Brothers a healthy and hap[py New Years and just a thought of how General Custer's cavalry went.

Thanks Shannon, that was the plan. I've got a couple trees in the back yard that were once little Christmas trees like that.

This one from last year didn't make the transplant. I kept it inside too long and then let it dry out too much outside before I got it into the ground after winter.

The three trees in the center foreground of this picture were all seedlings I put in pots and used for Christmas trees.

Christmas trees past and future. The big one planted on the far right was 4 or 5 years ago. The big pot in the middle is this years tree.

Dave love the tree.hopefully you can replant it and watch it grow up.

Merry Christmas to all the gentlemen & scamps on this site.

Watching rerun of the Johnny Carson show a couple nights ago. Johnny said the office Christmas party gets a little wild. Laverne always drinks to much and shows her affection to all. He commented Laverne is the only gal he knows that pins a mistletoe underneath her desk.

Ronny O , sixty years ago in Bamberg we were a lot younger and little things like snow  didn't bother us and I was used to it growing up in N.J. with the wet, snowy winters, even did some part time work outdoors in it. Now I'm older and wiser, residing in a warmer climate and enjoying life. " MERRY CHRISTMAS ."
