No updates on Wayne.

Dave, a belated “thank you.” Now I'll explain.

I was answering an e-mail from Richard Frank today and remembered a new Dragoon member who was stationed at Gates during our time there.  I couldn't remember his name so I traveled back several pages of comments to my welcome message to him and found that you had left a comment for me concerning the span of years.  I did not see it and wouldn't have if Rich had not e-mailed me.  I know it ain't no big deal but I just wanted to let you know, so you can take my picture off your dart board.

So guys, March is here again.  61 years ago I enlisted around the 7th but went in on the 15th (The ides of March)

and had my left eye cataract done today.  I was nervous but it was really quick.

Anybody heard from Wayne yet?

Sig, if you do get a few hours break from your family, you are a couple hours north of me.  I now live in Boynton beach.

Morning Sig. We just had about an hour of sun, but I was on the computer and now it is gone. Mountains have been getting several feet of snow but it is all gone here. Lots of wind yesterday. I see several branches in my neighbor's yard from the big fir trees behind him. He and his wife are wintering in Arizona, so I will go over and pick them up for him. They are both in their 80's and drag their big trailer south every year.

Good monday morning troops, up at 0355, O'dark thirty outside. Dave had a nice day yesterday, mid 60,s sunny, very little wind, suppose to be mid 60's again today, time for some outside chores. Haven't done much fishing last week with the colder weather, getting some reading done, finished one novel started another. Getting ready for a trip to Fla. after my b/day to help my daughter/ son in law with a project and some family time !

Dave good choice for "band" of the week. Leslie West grew up in my area and I got to see him and Mountain live many times (First time July 3, 1971). last time here in Montclair in 2010, (just before he lost his leg to diabetes infection). Dude can still rock used to love him on Howard Stern.

I hear you Joe. My lilies are poking up through the snow.

Shannon, the closest I got to the snow was clearing it off the wife's car so she could go to work.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
