Good afternoon TROOPERS ... ..

Well, we have been on the move, again. Moved over to Largo, FL from Thonotosassa, to be closer to Dunedin for the Highland Games on April 7. Games went fine, quite breezy, and the rain held off until we had packed up and were on the road back to camp. On Monday, we left Largo and drove down to the FishHawk Area and got a campsite at Lithia Springs Park. We will be here through mid June, at least.

I do hope that all are doing well and that Spring weather is beginning to arrive in your locations.

Enjoy your day, take care ... ..

Good morning troops on this fine Saturday, have a memorial service this AM for my wife's friends husband, he was a veteran so I'll don the Stetson. Just turned in my yearly calendar for Tower duty, now waiting for approval of the dates, starting a month early this year, May thru Nov. Been busy with not much fishing going on but all's good down here in the lower desert. Got to spend some time in Fla. with my daughters family, 2 weeks went by too fast but I had a blast, besides helping to complete a project. Added 4 new life birds to my life list. Would have liked to see more friends but time was just too short, family first. Have a great weekend.

Don't know what the problem is, but messages from Dragoon Base are coming in hit-and-miss on my computer. I might get one out of five messages in my e-mail.

You trying to wake everyone up, Harry?

I apologize for not being n these last couple of weeks, lot's happening.

Did both eyes for cataracts, finally done with that medicine yesterday.  Been working on this Memorial Day movie, and Dave I hope you and the rest we'll see it.  It's phenomenal, emotional, if I do say so myself.  I used the 2nd Cav for enduring freedom.

What I can't get over is that we have at least 500 Vets from Korea to Vietnam. including Alaska, Germany Iceland, Panama, Morocco, and out of all that they gave me 9 names to memorialize.  So I am improvising.

Mrs. Jones called the doctor to complain about some advice he had given her. “You told me not to worry about my son wetting the bed at night, and you said it's perfectly normal.”

“Yes, it is perfectly normal. Why are you calling?” asked the doctor.

”Well I just want you to know I don't agree with you, and neither does his wife.”

Good afternoon Troopers ...  ..

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter.  We went to Church Services and then to one of the Sister-in-laws house for dinner.

Brother-in-law had his Liver Surgery on Thursday, the 29th, and may come home this afternoon. He seems to be doing well.

Enjoy the day, take care... ..

Glad you liked it, Harry. By the way, did the winner have your wife's name?

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
