Sigmund Fertig,

My current "Main" camera is a Canon EOS 40D. I have the 18-55mm, 55-250mm,

100-300mm, and a 28-135mm Lenses. Back up camera is a Canon EOS Rebel XT. Both of these are Digital.

I do use the camera on the phone quite a bit as well. Periodically, I download the phone pics to the laptop.

Looks like you had a great trip down here to Florida. Glad you are home safely and settled back in.

Have a good day.  Toujours Pret!

Frank have both Phone and camera but my choice is almost always camera. Have a Nikon D3100 that I love, 18-55, 70 300 but sometimes I use my phone camera when I'm out fishing or don't specificly have camera at hand !

No updates about Wayne.  A few years ago we had a member who lived close to Wayne and would pay ocassional visits to him.  Anyone have Facebook contacts that might be able to inquire?

Guid Morrow tae all the Troopers ... ..

Aye, Harry, Home Is Where I Park It.  We've just gotten kind of spoiled, the past two Summers, with the cooler New England weather.  If, we dinnae travel North, I'll miss the Rendezvous of some of the 2d Cav Troopers in Maine, at the Cathedral Pines Campground.

We will go ahead and travel to Stone Mountain, Georgia in mid October.  Already have reservations at the campground, for the Highland Games.

Has there been any word on Wayne Dixon of late. Hope he is doing better.

I also hope that all of you are doing well, health wise and other wise.

The weather is morphing into more typical Florida temperatures. Low 60s in the morning and low to mid 80s for the afternoons.

Take care, enjoy the day!  TOUJOURS PRET!

Yesterday was 49 years since I said hello to Fort Dix to begin my two years of Army life.Time flies by.

Frank, I echo Shannon's sentiments.  I think bad patches are a way of making us appreciate the good ones.  But at least wherever you travel, you're always home.

Shannon, my father was a merchant seaman.
