Yup, gas and bier. The two just go together so well.

I am trying Dave, Linda is going to work a while longer I was thinking of trying to work until I turn 62 in 2 1/2 years  but not in my present occupation in the concrete cutting and demolition industry. I am ready to become a campground host or maybe a greeter at Walmart lol,  but I sure am ready for that Vagabond lifestyle that Frank is living, sound pretty good to me. I want fuel to be my biggest monthly expense, that and bier....

Hey Shannon, I convinced my best friend to retire recently. You need me to start working on you?

Sounds like you are having a good time on the road Frank. Hopefully I will be on the road sooner than later looking forward to retirement and getting out of this state. Take care.

Good afternoon TROOPERS ... ..

Well, we have been on the move, again. Moved over to Largo, FL from Thonotosassa, to be closer to Dunedin for the Highland Games on April 7. Games went fine, quite breezy, and the rain held off until we had packed up and were on the road back to camp. On Monday, we left Largo and drove down to the FishHawk Area and got a campsite at Lithia Springs Park. We will be here through mid June, at least.

I do hope that all are doing well and that Spring weather is beginning to arrive in your locations.

Enjoy your day, take care ... ..

Good morning troops on this fine Saturday, have a memorial service this AM for my wife's friends husband, he was a veteran so I'll don the Stetson. Just turned in my yearly calendar for Tower duty, now waiting for approval of the dates, starting a month early this year, May thru Nov. Been busy with not much fishing going on but all's good down here in the lower desert. Got to spend some time in Fla. with my daughters family, 2 weeks went by too fast but I had a blast, besides helping to complete a project. Added 4 new life birds to my life list. Would have liked to see more friends but time was just too short, family first. Have a great weekend.

Don't know what the problem is, but messages from Dragoon Base are coming in hit-and-miss on my computer. I might get one out of five messages in my e-mail.
