Harold, a belated Happy Anniversary to you and Joni, too.
Happy Anniversary to you and Cathy, Frank.
Frank, MAZEL TOV. 37 years is great.
Joni and I just celebrated our 56th April 1.
No one heard about Wayne yet?
Harry - the Nightlite is still glowing nicely.
Dave - missed the temp by 3 deg, only got to 66 deg. However we'll hit the mid 80s by Wednesday and the rest of the week.
Harold - Guess some areas got it worse than others. Heard that there were Waterspouts out on Tampa Bay and near the Skyway Bridge. We kept getting Small Craft warnings, Lake effect Wind warnings, and the Tornado Watch alerts, but, not much wind in the campground, this time. The timing sounds about right. Heaviest weather got to us from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and the rain finally cleared out around 8:00 PM.
Cathy and I will celebrate our 37th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday the 19th.
Frank, that was one wicked storm. at least 60 mph winds. Thought a tornado hit.
Whole thing went through in less than an hour
Stay safe
It's gonna take more than a little storm to stop the Wandering Scotsman and the Mrs. Keep that night light glowing.
Only 69 degrees? Be nice if it got into the 50's around here!!!
Good Monday Morning Troopers ... ..
Reporting in for duty.
We (Cathy and I and the camper) survived the storm front that came thru yesterday Afternoon and evening. Were under Tornado Watch and even a Warning for a bit. Got rain, but no really hard winds at all. At least where we are at. It did usher some cooler temps for the next few days. Lows tonight into the 40s. High today only about 69 deg.
This is our current campsite, before unfurling the awning, setting ...
Hope all are doing well. Enjoy the day, take care.

Harold, remember what MacArthur said about “old soldiers?”

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
