The fires really displaced a lot of people over 12 thousand structures burned including my brothers two houses and business he got his family out and that is what is important. He is looking to relocate in North Carolina and start over.

So Thanksgiving at the Warner's has gone from a max of 13 to just Jo and me. (I guess it's like Oldtimers, but different.)   Kids nowaday seem to have different ideas and views of most things that WE grew up with.  Those that have been here for a while might remember Jo's mom, Margie.  Margie passed on November 9th, 1 month shy of 99 years old.  On December 7th, her birthday, we have arranged to have her interred next to her husband, a WWII veteran. The National Military Cemetery is just above Ft Dix.  Havent't been up that way since I left basic training in 1961.

I can't help but feel for all those folks in California who are going through hell just to exist day to day.  The mind can't comprehend what it must be like.

I hope all that can, have a Happy Thanksgiving.  To those that can't, I sincerely hope better days are coming.
