What, you guys are renting out the Dragoon Saloon for ceremonies and parties when I'm not around?

Harold and Sig, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your friend, especially one that goes back so far.

Dave, if you can dot the same for Joe Dixon, as you did for Sam Alves would appreciate greatly.

Joe spent his time in Germany with HQ HQ Co. in the Commo Section.  I don't recall what his MOS was.

Good morning troops, Called Harold Goldstein yesterday to share with him that a fellow trooper Joe Dixon joined Fiddlers Green, Saturday 3/3/19 at 10 AM. Joe reside in Hastings Neb. Survived by wife and children ! Very emotional call for me. Joe and I go back to boot in Ft. Meade in 57 !

Thank you for that blessing Sig that means a lot. I will find a good hobby like using my fishing boat that I never had much time to use. And helping take care of three grandkids that will keep me busy. I am also considering joining up with the volunteer fire department and helping with the community the town I am moving to only has a population of 500. I will keep you posted. Stay well Brother.

Shannon my brother, Mazel Tov on your retirements. Let me tell you the secret of a long retirement, afternoon naps are important and the big secret, even though you are retired, keeping busy. I retired at 63, now turning 80 and I don't look it. Vitamins not prescriptions ( a lot cheaper ). Wishing you many years of enjoyment. If'n you don't have a hobby, find one you can enjoy !

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
