Good morning Troops on this fine warm Friday, out fishing yesterday, a good day till the wind picked up, 11 fish, gonna try again today, tuff life. Finished my prostrate cancer treatments 2 weeks ago, 28 treatments, five days a week for 5 1/2 weeks. Feeling pretty good and getting back to normal where I can sleep right through the night without getting up to go pee as I was doing twice a night while treatment was going on. Life is good, got my tomato's and some special lettuce in the ground. Weather getting better ( warmer ) and I'm once again enjoying retired life. Going to those treatments reminded me of work, as I was always looking forward to the weekends. Hope now I can get back to doing Honor Guard, missed a couple of months while undergoing treatments. Hoe y'all have a good Easter, Arivaderchi !

Good afternoon Troopers and Oldtimers ... ..

The Not So Wandering Scotsman checking in. Saw the Doctor, last week, got a "reasonably" clean bill of health. No new meds, need to work on getting my weight down, more exercise. Not bad for an almost 74 yr old man.

My Brother, that lives in TX, had his surgery yesterday morning. Damn if he didn't hit a Trifecta! Thought it was just the Pancreas they were gonna take, but also took the Spleen and Gallbladder. He came through it fine, Is in ICU, for now. Probably be a few days before they send him home.

Hope all of you are in good shape or at least holding your own.

Enjoy the day... take care...

Toujours Pret!

Good afternoon Oldtimers and Troopers ... ..

Had a nice visit with my brother, Steve, last week. Took one day and went to the Zoo at Lowry Park and took pictures. He flew back to TX on Saturday evening. He wanted to come see us before his Surgery on the 10th, when   they will take out his Pancreas. Praying for a successful procedure and recovery.

Hope that Shannon has found his coffee maker by now and that the rest of his moving travels go smoothly and safely.

Hope the rest of youse guys are doin' well. Harry, Sig, Harold, Dave, Opie, Mike the jeweler, and anyone else I have forgotten to mention.

I raise a glass "To Friends Not Present!"  Slainte mhath! Toujours Pret Brothers!

Enjoy the day, take care!

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
