Outstanding, Harold!

Have a Toujours Pret Memorial Day, Dragoons!

Our Memorial day program is tomorrow morning.

Dave I am wearing the hat tomorrow.  I was saving the wear for this occasion.

We had dress full rehearsal Thursday and they gave me a standing ovation for the movie.  There were about 15 people at the rehearsal and they were all in tears.

I will send you pictures.  The community is putting the whole program on our community TV station.  I don't know how you guys can tap into it.

One gentlemen who has a Bronze Star for "The Battle of the Bulge" in WWII will lay the wreath .

Have a Toujours Pret Memorial Day all.

Good afternoon Troopers and Oldtimers ... ..

Just wanted to drop in, while I am thinking about it,  to Wish Our Regiment a Happy 183rd Birthday. Tomorrow, the 23rd of May is the actual date. 1836 to 2019.

TOUJOURS PRET!  "Remember  your Regiment, and Follow your Officers!"

I saw the posts about Brother Wayne Dixon on my e-mail and on facebook.

R.I.P. my Friend and Brother. Enjoyed the discussions about photography and cameras that we had. My heart is heavy at your passing, but to know you are free from pain and that chair, is uplifting.

Rest easy, my friend. We have the watch.  Toujours Pret!

Harold, I posted Wayne's obituary in Fiddler's Green.  As to posting anything to Wayne's wife, I have no email for or from her.

Harry, can you give this ti his wife.I just wrote this for another friends wife.  He died suddenly last week.

TILL THEN

New days are gone with each night.

Love forever does not keep time.

With no regard to what was in sight,

While all this time you have been mine.

Thank you for all your time in life.

Thank you for understanding me.

Thank you for being my wife.

My goal was always, to keep you happy.

Today the days went too fast.

There was concern it won’t be long

The days and nights just won’t last.

When nighttime comes, please be strong.

We know I won’t see you soon,

But soon, we’ll be together again.

There’s nothing that I can undo;

Except to keep on loving you,

The way I do.    Till then

AITCH GEE

I posted the obituary of Wayne Dixon.  He now resides at Fiddler's Green, free of his wheelchair.
